Yardley 5K

The Yardley 5K Run & Walk is a beloved community event that brings together runners and walkers of all ages for a morning of fitness, fun, and local pride. Celebrating its 17th year, the race will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in the heart of Yardley Borough, Pennsylvania. Participants will enjoy a scenic course that winds through Yardley’s charming streets and along the beautiful Delaware Canal towpath. The event welcomes both runners and walkers, including families with strollers, creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for all levels of ability. The race is part of the Bucks 5K Series, a nonprofit race series held each spring to promote health, wellness, and community involvement throughout Bucks County. Proceeds from the series benefit a variety of local causes and organizations.

The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. on West Afton Avenue, just outside Starbucks in Yardley Borough. Participants can pick up their bibs and race shirts at the Yardley Farmer’s Market in Buttonwood Park, or on race morning at the Buttonwood Park pavilion. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as to age-group winners based on net times. To be eligible for awards, runners must finish within 40 minutes, and all participants must complete the course within 50 minutes.

The Yardley 5K Run & Walk is hosted by the Yardley Borough Parks and Recreation Board and supported by generous community sponsors. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or simply looking to enjoy a beautiful morning outdoors, the Yardley 5K offers a perfect way to celebrate health, community, and local spirit.
